Edits and Propagation time

The following applies to all plug & play templates.

Once the first version of a script is created, it is saved in the AVUXI database in a way that ensures fast response times. However, whenever an edit or change in configuration is made through the wizard, the changes will require a short period of time to propagate through the system. Time is required for data to be sent to the deferents servers, in different countries. This normally requires a few minutes.

Some important notes regarding propagation:

  • When a new script is added, the propagation is immediate.
  • When a change to the configuration made, the following also occurs:
    • The script is saved in a CDN for 4 hours.
    • If the url used did not have extra parameters, we remove this from the CDN.
    • The browser will also save the file in local for 4 hours. Therefore, if you make changes and do not see the result within a few minutes, it is recommended you clear your browser cache.

Please note, for all the users, the script will be saved a maximum of 4 hours.
